So California

by Jess Hopkins
(Redland, California)

Have a concern, what should I look out for with regard to "pest," aphids, mites. Am attempting to grow what I believe is a "dwarf" in a container to add to the atmosphere of a Japaneses garden, is in a shaded area that receives direct sunlight for about four hours, indirect the remaining eight, container is movable.

Am also not concerned to much about fruit but more about the flowers and the tree.

Thanks for any help

Jess Hopkins.

PS One of the good growing areas for cherry trees with fruit is only ten miles away.
