"Outdoor Furniture"
The range of outdoor furniture available is enormous. Whatever the theme of your garden; wild, conservative, cottage garden or back yard, you will find the furniture to fit!
If you're still in the planning stages of your garden, remember to allow a space for chilling out. If you've already got a superb well planned garden but no furniture, FIND a space!
Your garden can easily become just an extension of the household chores if you stick with just a table and chairs for barbeque days. Extend the comfort of your home into the garden. If you have trees, what about a relaxing hammock? Or how about a beautiful bench around a prominent tree. Check this page for more bench ideas. A cooling off spot in your garden is even nicer with a tucked away garden seat or two. Home-Made outdoor furniture
The possibilities are endless! For three or four years we used an empty cable reel we found at the local dump as a table. It was almost 2 metres in diameter and had a hole through the centre which served well as an umbrella support. Total cost? Nothing at all! It started to fall apart eventually and another table turned up just when we needed it! Keep your eyes peeled for old furniture you could treat with a coat of preserving fluid and use outside. Living in the middle of the woods gives us plenty of available tree stumps and large logs to play with. They make great chairs, although we do have to add a cushion or two! Outdoor furniture can be created from natural and recycled products: *Use driftwood for benches and chairs and even tables *Pick up barrels and cable reels from local dumps or loft sales. *Cleaned oil drums can be cut in half lengthways, sunk into the ground until solid, and used as tables and chairs. However, investing a little cash in some classic outdoor furniture will never be regretted. Consider what furniture will enhance your garden AND your enjoyment of it. outdoor furniture - recommended online suppliers
