Not sure the name of cherry tree?Tasmania

Well my gran planted two cherry pips late last year and now she has two little cherry trees in the pot.

when they first came up the colour of the leaves were green and as it got a bit bigger they changed to red. She was just wondering what sort of cherry tree it is and should she plant them both together or can they be separated,and where's the best place to plant them?
