"Kids Gardening for healthy families!"

Introduce kids gardening to the family schedule and you'll never look back. Some of my happiest personal moments have been while gardening with my children and grandchildren.

Unless you want to create a particular theme for your children's garden, simply scale everything down according to their age and size!

There are a number of supplies you will need before launching into kids gardening projects.

A few basic gardening clothes:

*protective gloves: needed to protect against thorns or stinging plants, and also some plants can cause allergic reactions.

*protective boots: especially where the ground is stony or your child is using tools.

*old clothes: kind of goes without saying I guess!

Child size tools:

*a trowel
*spade
*fork
*rake
*watering can with rosette fitting.

Accessories: Not needed for all kids gardening projects but will make life more bearable!

*wheelbarrow

*Adult size gardeners apron to carry seed packets, hand tools etc:

*basket to colect veggies - this will be needed later.

Individual project materials: - list the materials you need

e.g.

*seeds
*plants
*bulbs
*rocks
*tomato canes
*row markers
