Apart from cutting them down with a lawnmower or trampling them underfoot, there's very little that will disturb their growth.
Other varieties may take a little more looking after but overall it's a very hardy species of plant and every garden should show a few sunny blooms among the flower beds and borders. They are generally easy to grow and even beginner gardeners shouldn't have too much trouble. Growing: If you're growing from seed, read the instructions for your variety and your region on the back of the packet. The ground should be prepared in advance - dig over, rake to a fairly fine tilth and remove all weeds and large stones and any other debris. The site should be well-drained and in a fairly sunny spot.
Caring:Daisies really are a hardy plant and they tend to look after themselves fairly well. However, they won't like to be too dry or too wet. Make sure the soil isn't water logged and in times of very dry weather, water regularly. If you're unable to get to your garden for a few days and the weather is particularly dry, try mulching just after the last watering or rainfall and the soil should stay damp enough for the plants.
