Cherry tree pip from super market.

by Leighton
(Essex)

I collected some seeds from a pot of cherries I bought from the super market and just put the seeds in the ground in my back garden, they were neither watered nor fed just left for nature to take its course.

The area where I live is surrounded by london clay so maybe this was a good soil for it. I managed to grow about 15 of them all from the same batch. I still have 1 left today, I had to chop the others down as I didn't plan the space and they got too big.
